Who are we

Black Flower Baking Co is a local, vegan bakery owned and operated in Cleveland, Ohio. Black Flower Baking Co was founded by Marty Addante, a vegan since 2015. Having enjoyed baking prior to becoming vegan, Marty switched due to the impact that animal agriculture has on the environment and now considers himself an ethical vegan. He then spent the past 8 years relearning his hobby to eliminate animal products while still making delicious food. All food is baked and prepared right in our own kitchen in Parma, Ohio.

Our mission

All baked goods at Black Flower Baking Co. are vegan, using absolutely no animal products (including honey). We use the highest quality and freshest ingredients, including locally sourced whenever possible."* We believe that eating vegan can help society become more ethical consumers while still being able to enjoy the foods they love.

*Some ingredients may be produced in a facility that also handles dairy, eggs, or other non-vegan ingredients and will be identified as such. No ingredients themselves will directly contain any dairy, eggs, honey, etc.
